Microcrystalline cellulose is a term for refined wood pulp and is used as a texturizer, an anti-caking agent, a fat substitute, an emulsifier, an extender, and a bulking agent in food production.

Functions and Applications

It is widely used in medicine,food etc,used as emulsifier,binding agent in tablets,stabilizer,dispersant,metal fiber etc.Used as Bonding agent,dilute agent, disintegrating agent,assist in flowing.Its concentration is about 5 to 60 percent.      It is used as capsule packing agent,its concentration is 10 to 60 percent.
